Atlanta’s PUBLIC ART INITIATIVE to create a healthier, more equitable future for everyone.

Through art, Atlantans can examine our complex history and raise awareness of social determinants affecting health such as food insecurity, racial discrimination, environmental factors, and income disparity. We hope to inspire action and build partnerships to create positive change for all of us.

PUBLIC ART FOR PUBLIC HEALTH

Look for diverse art forms including public art murals, arts-driven community conversations on health and race, a mobile arts experience and a culminating community arts festival.

OUR PARTNERS

THRIVING TOGETHER ATLANTA, over the next two years, will host arts events and experiences to bring together community activists, health experts, arts professionals, and members of the public to engage in important, thought-provoking conversations about race and health equity and how we can create change.  We invite you to join us!

Thriving Together Atlanta is a Bloomberg Public Art Challenge project and is a collaboration between the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs, the CDC Foundation, National Black Arts Festival, and Out of Hand Theater.
